Just landed? Here's how to quickly transfer to your connecting flight:
- Use the Brussels Airport app to check the status, gate, and boarding time of your next flight.
- You’ll usually receive your boarding pass for your next flight when you check in for your first flight. Don’t have a boarding pass yet? Then stop by your airline’s counter.
- Your luggage will be automatically transferred to your final destination, unless you are traveling with separate tickets. In that case, your luggage will arrive in the baggage claim area, and you will need to check it in again yourself.
- Check your gate number using the Brussels Airport app or on the screens in the terminal. Then follow the yellow signs. Wait until boarding begins. Have a nice trip!
🕑 How long will the installation take?
At Brussels Airport, the minimum layover time is 70 minutes. Please keep this in mind when booking a connecting flight.
If you have a long layover, you can grab a bite to eat or do some shopping at the airport. So you won't have to worry about getting bored.
👮♀️ Inspection
If you're traveling within the Schengen area, you can just proceed to your gate.
If you are flying to or from a country outside the Schengen Area, in most cases you will still need to go through passport control and an additional security check.
